The Story of Anne Penman     

Anne Penman and her husband Ron were both heavy smokers for over twenty years and didn't seriously try to quit until Ron's health became a major issue in 1987 when he had his first heart attack at the age of 39. He was advised by his heart specialist to stop smoking immediately. They both made a few half-hearted attempts to quit without success. Ron's health continued to deteriorate and in 1991, he suffered a major heart attack which left him hospitalized for 12 weeks and resulted in a triple bypass operation.

Ron has been a non-smoker ever since.

This was the final wake up call for Anne and after trying all the methods available at that time, she discovered Laser Therapy. Anne quit her 60-cigarettes-a-day habit on the 19th of April 1991. She quickly developed a passion to help other smokers who felt as hopeless as she had and in 1991, trained as a Laser Therapist and thereafter began to develop her own program.
Since 1994, Anne has been training technicians in her unique method. All technicians are trained and certified by Anne Penman. The Media Catches On

In 1992 Anne came to Glasgow for a month to help a group of ten smokers who wanted to quit. This resulted in a news article written by a journalist who used the program successfully to give up his 40-a-day habit. This article attracted hundreds of smokers who wanted help - their success brought thousands more! The first Anne Penman Laser Therapy center was established shortly thereafter. Across the world, television, radio and newspapers have taken a keen interest and given valuable exposure to the Anne Penman Program.

The Program Grows

The original plan was to help smokers who attended the center, but this quickly changed to wanting to help smokers from all walks of life. The program is now also available through hospitals/medical centers and the corporate sector. Anne has been practicing as a therapist for sixteen years and the more she sees her therapy working, the greater her desire is to make it available to all smokers.
